MuScriptor Large — float16 GGUF for WakeMIDI

This repository hosts muscriptor-large-f16.gguf, the MuScriptor large model by Kyutai, Mirelo AI and IRCAM, converted to GGUF at half precision for the muscriptor.cpp engine. The free WakeMIDI app downloads it on request.

Scope: this repository distributes only MuScriptor Large weights. The README is the model card; application binaries and other models are not included.

• Source weights: MuScriptor/muscriptor-large, revision 8809fdfbed2affa7ade94a7059e746e3880720e7, used unmodified apart from the conversion.
• Conversion: muscriptor.cpp's own convert_gguf (commit c8adc019677ed3479fa3c22c1a117d662382f347), type f16, round-trip checked against the source weights. Bulk weights use float16; conditioning and normalization tensors retain float32 as specified by the converter. The model has not been retrained.
• File size: 2,739,142,144 bytes (2.74 GB / 2.55 GiB).

The weights are licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0 by their authors: non-commercial use only, with attribution. This copy is redistributed free of charge under the same licence and the specific conditions below. No commercial use is permitted.

MuScriptor — specific conditions of use (from the original model card)

MuScriptor is the result of a research collaboration between Mirelo and Kyutai whose purpose is to transcribe audio to MIDI/music sheet. It is provided primarily for research purposes under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence supplemented by the below specific conditions of use.

Specific conditions of use: MuScriptor and any generated content by MuScriptor are provided as is without any warranty of any kind, including but not limited to any warranty of non-infringement. Use of MuScriptor and its output must comply with all applicable laws and must not result in, involve, or facilitate any illegal or unauthorized activity. Prohibited uses include, without limitation, inputting music files and transcribing them to MIDI/music sheet without having all the necessary rights, including intellectual property rights, under applicable laws. Accordingly, users of MuScriptor undertake and warrant to have all the necessary rights, including intellectual property rights, in connection with their use of MuScriptor and its output. We disclaim all liability for any non-compliant use and users of MuScriptor shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mirelo and Kyutai from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) incurred by Mirelo and/or Kyutai arising out of or resulting from their failure to comply with the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence and/or these specific conditions of use.
